Peer Support Communities

The University of Oregon has two groups dedicated to building peer knowledge and providing support around digital accessibility for employees.

Document Accessibility Peer Support Community

The Document Accessibility Peer Support Community is a place for UO employees to bring questions and share information about the accessibility of Word files, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents.

To join the Peer Support Community, you must first complete the UO Digital Content Accessibility Training.

The community has a Teams group that you can join, and peer support drop-in meetings take place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 1:00-2:00pm on Zoom (starting May 21).

Web Accessibility Peer Support Community

The Web Accessibility Peer Support Community is a place for UO employees to bring questions about website accessibility, get accessibility advice about their web pages, show off web accessibility successes, and learn from colleagues and leaders.

To join the Peer Support Community, you must first complete the UO Web Accessibility Training.

The community has a Teams group that you can join, and peer support drop-in meetings take place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 1:00-2:00pm on Zoom.
